I have been contemplating on whether i should put a set of bushwacker cutouts or run a fiberglass fender. Any thoughts?

Can you still get bushwacker cutouts for an '86? For me it would depend on price, I'm cheap! With a little lean towards the fiberglass as I think it's easier to fix.

summit sells the flares. they will run you around 410 plus shipping. the fiberglass fenders run 300 plus shipping so if your on the east coast its going to cost you a pretty penny to get them. im going with the fender flares personally.

I live on the west coast so i live close to both the summit warehouse and all the shops that do fiberglass. My thing is that if i do the fiberglass up front i probly will want to do the rear. Also I want to keep center of gravity as low as possible but still run 33's-35's

Metal fenders aren't heavy but the hood is! I cut the bracing from my hood for my cheapass race truck and lost 50 lbs [guestimate].

if you arn't having a wider track width then the flares are pointless

I thought about putting a fiberglass hood on it also but that would be down the road.
