I loved the way my Generation 2 looked over the generation 3 I have now. The Gen 2 is, in my opinion, a much cleaner looking, yet worked looking truck. If its done up and slammed to the ground it still has style and it looks modern-ish, and if its lifted and has every body panel bent in and heavy scratches and you can tell its a big brush truck it still looks good. It has the sharp, squared lines that give it the real "truck" look. Later generations looked to rounded and the generation 1 has the goofy front side marker lights that looked like an afterthought, like they designed everything and then said "oh, wait, we need front side markers, oh well, we have space here for them", The front clip just looked almost unfinished, in some cases, and in some cases, it looked to busy.

gen 1 with gen 2 dash, gen 2, and gen 4 01-03 frontend, would perfer the gen 2 dash in the gen 4 but kinda cant get it that way(never cared for air bags, that or a gen 3(93-94) body with the gen 4(01-03) front end, and the SOHC 4.0 from a gen 4

a gen 1 all around.....but but since i have a gen one is peices...and a gen 2 that is more whole....going to stick the gen one nose on the gen 2...and with my gen 3 going to make that look like a gen 5...now them will be sexy

I learned to drive on my dad's 3rd gen, I own a first gen, so I like those obviously, but I also like the 01 and newer. Im not sure Id be able to live without the TTB so my ultimate truck would be a 01-03 ext cab body on a mid 90s chassis.

I like all gen's though, it all depends on the right combo of paint, lift/drop, wheels, tires, etc that makes them look like crap or a million bucks.
