fast help front axle dis-assembly.. pic

i always push them through, it makes the spindle easier to take off. i'm assuming that's what he's done.
:iamwithstupid:
yep thats what i done, also alot easier for when your punding on the spindle, i wont beat the shit out of the bolts

Huh...never needed to do that. Like I said tho I always use the slide hammer and spindle puller so removing the studs in a unneeded step for me.

Hmm, I always just give the spindle a few whacks with a dead blow or rubber mallet, that usually does the trick.

x2 on the penetrating oil. And when your putting it all back together, remeber to grease the hell out of everything! :icon_thumby:

im sweating my frigen ass off tryin to get that shit loose so now its just pissin me right the f off
i put all kinds of oil on it, heated the hell out of it, beat the shit out of it with the big ass hammer, and i tried a spindel puller from my pops garage that was useless, im using one of those coldcuts now and it aint workin

im soon jus gonna say the hell with it and drive it to the dump, seriously

i got it out after beating and beating and beating
so now how do i pull the axle shafts out?
thanks guys

The drivers shaft should just slide out.

The passenger shaft has a C-clip you'll need to remove. (Hence, pulling the pumpkin is required.) Although, I have been able to get them out with a lot of wiggiling and twisting, letting the c-clip fall off the shaft. But that was pure luck. :icon_thumby:

i got it done and put back together now i just need to hook up the brakes and she will be done
