Farewell, John

Today is one of the saddest days of my life. My hero, my idol, my favorite sports announcer, John Madden, has decided to call it a career. I'll miss his ridiculous rants, the way he liked to circle linemen's butts, and looking at his oddly shaped face. I'll miss you John! Have fun playing golf!

Sports are stupid especially football, WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY over payed , and just because somebody can run fast, these sports people would be NOTHING in life especially on the academic level if it was not for sports.

It is a fun time killer when the weather is crappy or on a holiday when everybody is over for background noise/entertainment. Otherwise if the weather is decent I am in the garage listening to it on the TV while I am working on something unless it is two teams I don't care about.

Few popular people (actors, race car drivers, singers, musicians) would be very productive in the real world either. They get way over payed too, but I bet you don't want to do away with what they do. It takes a lot of skill to either play sports, act, sing or not crash into a wall at 200mph, but different things interest different people.

The only interest in sports I have is playing them. I can't stand watching football,basketball,hockey, or nascar on TV. Every time they interview someone they have to mention their sponsors so many times. Today it's more about sponsorship competition and what not, not a good ol' enjoyable game. Go watch some high school football, that's where the funs at.
