Fan clutch removal


Your hammering on the edge of the flat of the nut, basically doing what an impact would do if you could put one on it.
 
..I noticed an arrow formed in the plastic of the fan shroud that says, "Fan removal direction" or words to that effect. :bawling:

That works as long as you have the right shroud.:D
 
a little heat from the "blue tipped wrench" and ours came right off! Don't use so much that the fan lights off! Heat releases the thread locker.
 
Chisel bit in the air hammer works great. ...though not as well as one of these in an air hammer.
