Man those are some nice shots. I take it you've got yourself a hobby.

you ever think af putting together a calender for some extra cash to spend on the truck??

Thanks for all your comments!!!

Yes, I really enjoy photography as a hobby!!!

And, I know better than to throw my money away on useless mods on my truck!! Every chance I get, I try to get this point across to youngsters on
this site (and other sites) so they don't throw their money away either!

Some might opine that posting pictures of birds, cats, and leaves on a truck forum is also pointless.

Not all truck modifications are useless.

Many, many youngsters(and some adults) do modifications to their trucks for the "wow" factor, not necessisarily for any type of gain. It's their money, they can spend it however they please. shady

You make a very good point, and this is one advantage of living in a free country!!

I just want to emphasis that the performance claims by most aftermarket
companies are FALSE, so youngsters (and some adults as you have pointed out) should be aware of this!

Well I'll say I enjoy your pictures Bob. They're a nice break from the usual trucks, cars, bla bla bla. They're always random so its nice to see something interesting. My sister is a photojournalist and I enjoy nice pictures. I know I probably won't ever have the eye to capture stuff like that... but I try sometimes.

:agree: with sunk

I asked him the same thing... I was ready to go out and buy whatever camera it was because it takes flawless shots.. Then I found out it is an $800 camera..

I also like the pictures. They are always unique and worth looking at.

$800 is pretty cheap. Some high end cameras are WAY up there.... But then again, nowadays you can get a pretty decent digital for just a few hundred.

Thanks to all of you for your comments!

My camera is a Nikon D70 DSLR, which I've had for almost 3 years now, and I'm still learning it! I have found that the sharpness and detail in the pictures come from the lenses, and not the camera. The lens I used for most of the
pictures in this post is the Nikkor 70 - 200mm f/2.8 VR, which is way more expensive than the camera:

For the closeup leaf pictures, I used the Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 VR:
