F150 2x4 to 4x4 conversion

Do you have to swap out the crossmember the same as with Rangers?

i don't think so but it would be helpful to know the year of the truck , type of transfer case you have and what you plan on putting in. if the case lengths are the same i would have to say no , you'd be o.k

if the 4x4 truck's yours i'd just swap everything i could over just to be safe

It wouldn't have been to hard to have swapped everything over to the 2x4 truck, but after seeing the parts truck for myself last night It'd be more worth while swapping his running engine and drivetrain into the 4x4 truck.

It's an excellent truck for $300 and I'm getting a set of very new looking Cooper Discoveries for free out of the deal, well for helping him do the swap.
