The short version is the pinch bolt won't tighten enough to hold the camber bushing tight. It slides up in no time. I have the the after market bushings that are basically 2 pieces with 1 turning inside the other. The way I see it is I have 2 options

1. Use my spare passenger side pivot beam and basically start over:bawling:

OR

2. When I get the alignment done get them to weld the GD thing to the pivot beam and tack weld it to prevent it from turning:icon_welder:

What do you think???

What's happening? The two sides of the beam where it's split are hitting each other before the bushing is secured? Did you get the correct bushings?

The driver's side is solid and tight so I am pretty sure its the right ones. There is till gap to tighten but not much. I guess i could try heat before I tighten. Maybe?

sounds like the wrong bushing. its obviously too small if you tighten the pinch bolt so much that the split touches.....

it's also possible he's using the replacement bolt that kame with his balljoints ans he's running out of threads before the pinch bolt pinches...

Try putting a washer under the head of the bolt?

Thanks for the update. Glad it turned out to be something simple :icon_thumby:
