F-250 Extraction

its entirely possible...ive seen stranger things happen...

Haha. That is nuts and anything is possible while wheeling. Ive been stuck where two half tons couldnt budge me.

Im thinking the 5 guys that tried with half tons before this guy were doing something wrong. Just my guess.

ive seen broncos stuck so bad that a 5ton couldnt get it to budge, and that was with a runnin start and some good slack, in the end it took a crane truck to lift him out of the mud and forward

wiht pics to prove it

That Super Duty is stuck in some watery mud . Probably not as stuck as one would assume. Now that Bronco is stuck. That thick , thick mud would act like a suction cup holding down the Bronco.

Or I could be wrong...............................

i was actually thinkin the same thing, hes JUST barely stuck sittin on the diffs prolly, once he got rollin and out of his ruts he prolly drove right out

oh btw, look at the tracks in the front of the bronco pic, thats a definate duece tracks from where they were getting a running start tryin to get him to move

look at the pics he psoted up first, the f-250 wasnt even that stuck, all he prolly had todo was get moved forward a little bit out of his ruts and he prolly pulled himself out at that point, after lookin at the pics i say yes its possible

Yes, i looked.

How is it that (5) half ton trucks tried to get him out and all (5) half ton trucks that tried failed?

because 95% of people dont know how to recover someone from a stuck scenario, and hey just got plain lucky, odds are the other 5 trucks yanking on him did the work, and when he got around to it it gave him just enough of a nudge to get traction. happens all the time, you dont ahve to be completely pulled out fo the hole usualy, just out of the ruts u dug trying to get urself free

also, ur not really stuck if u can be pulled out by another truck in the group, ur just taking a break

I agree.. (hangs head in shame);brownbag; Ignore previous comments.

Hey the mud there is about 2 to 3 feet of mud with a foot or so of water on top the reason the 1/2 tons couldnt get him out is they were only useing a 20 foot tow strap and couldnt build up the momentum. with the ranger on 60 feet of strap he could get going about 30mph and all that force was applied in the three feet the straps streched in turn giving him Waay more pull than the 1/2 ton trucks. so kenetic energy is Mass x velocity squared. so if you double the speed you quadrouple the force.
