Explorer parts car?

I found this explorer on cl, same year and all the same options and engine as my truck- is it worth picking it up as a parts car? Im not sure if the engine transmission etc will work as a direct swap?

Everything will work for you truck except the body panels.

For that price I'd pick it up. Nice plus is it even has a lift in it too!

Same here. I have a brand new one sitting in my garage and a spare in the cab of my truck. I'd put in the fuel pump, take out the lift, put the lift in my truck and sell it for $1000.
I'm still running stock suspension and height . Oh well I got my 31's to fit without doing a Fawking body lift

looks like it's more than a 4" lift. unless they are using stock 2wd rims and tires from a ranger

Dang seems like the opinion is across the board, well Ill have to snatch it up then! I was going to do a drivetrain swap with it- my engine is ticking.

Buy it, fix it, drive it. That's a pretty good deal, especially when you consider fuel pumps aren't all that expensive. If that was remotely near me, that would be the exact thing I would do.

If that will work for you, than go ahead and do it. Its still a pretty good deal no matter what you do with the Expo.

Well still no reply from the guy yet.. Most likely its already gone and he just forgot to remove the ad.

Im not convinced its "Just" a fuel pump either- it likely needs more than that. You guys make it sound like its gonna be a plug-n-play operation!
