Explorer OHC help

Hi all, I've recently mounted the explorer ohc, but the display will not turn on, Ive check all my connections and I'm sure there fine, the map lights will turn on but nothing else, the main power wire I'm using has 11.85 volts but when i connect it to the harness, nothing happens, and I've made sure the wires were connected with the harness with the proper colours, and when i bought the console i tested it in an explorer and it worked so I'm completely lost, any help would be appreciated, thanks

I have done a few of these myself and noticed at times when they arent used for some time, test looks good then the internals just go and you have to get a whole new one. If your map lights are working and the read out isnt, I am pretty sure it is shot.

Much appreciated for the feedback, i looked inside and one of the internal pieces was not on properly, the solder broke but when i push down on it the console works, so I'm probably just going to solder it back on, thanks a lot man!
