You can get the same thing by welding a bunch of washers together, and a hell of a lot cheaper. There is an article about doing that in the tech library.

I would go with shackles over add-a-leafs...you could also convert your rear axle to SOA, more work, but worth it.

Why lift just a couple inches? If tire clearance is all you're worried about, just get a body lift...easy with no alignment required.
 
I like the idea of the washers. How long do my shackles need to be to match the front lift?
 
since no one else has spoke up....
going from my old days of solid front axle chevy crap....2inches longer of a shackle will get you one inch of lift on average, unless your springs a really worn out.. just dont go hog wild or you could end up with a pinion angle problem....

you are better off with the washers vs those daystar spacers.those spacers have been known to mush down over time, split apart etc.and dont stack so many washer you need those stud extenders, those are asking for problems if you ask me.

you can also look in to the 2wd f150 spacers for a spacer as well.(they are a cast chunk)
 
i was going to buy those day star spacers but i dident want to spend another $140 in a year or so when they started sagin and falling a part so i went with the washers , i got 1 5/8 of lift out of them. and they will most likely out last the truck. go with the washers.
