The nut behind the fan clutch unscrews from the water pump shaft. Regular right hand thread. Auto parts stores will sell or rent or sometimes loan the 2-pc tool set (open end wrench and pulley holder).

I thought for sure it was a left hand thread. Anyway here are the two tools that really come in handy to remove the clutch fan. Got the shop manual if you run into problems.
