Exhaust Pipe Size

I recently bought a Magnaflow muffler with a dump on it, I'm not really sure of the series but it came off a ranger, and I was wondering what you guys recommend as pipe size from the cat to the muffler. Should I keep the stock pipe? I have a 3.0 and it's a prerunner/desert style truck.

Your stock intermediate pipe is most likely 2".

Most of the cat-back systems come with a 2 1/4" intermediate,
and that's what I'd use.....
