Escorts 2nd SAS

That could do the trick. Or go four link :D

I would love to go 4link but not with it being my DD. I would need something to drive while it was being worked on.

Creepers joints? Hmmm, that's an option.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what are creeper joints?

They are like a flex joint that replaces the rubber bushing at the ends of the leaf spring. Most people do that to Toyota leafs. Rangers are a little different and require some fabrication.

Look what my brother just bought off Craigslist.... He got the bug after riding with me to Bundy Hill. Lol

Now he just needs the RBV bug. As far as making a Toyota badass as an RBV, can it be done?

yota's can be a cheap capable budget build..

He got it for less than 900. It has a title but just not streetable. It beat up body but frame is good and motor runs good. Also came with lockers front and rear

Sounds like a good deal then. But is he going to try to make it streetable so that he can drive it to where he plans to offroad it, or is she going to be a trailer queen?

Forgot to say, any word or furture going on the badlands?

You could do a shackle flip but you won't get enough lift from it unless you get them re-arched. I would do the 63's with beltechs and see if thats enough lift

He was already looking for lights on eBay for it before he went and picked it up.

Not sure on a day yet. Need to make some bump stops for the front before I break the shocks. I will let you know.

Might be an option. I am looking at re arching an extra set of explorer leads to see if it helps some. Won't cost me anything to do it. I might look into inboarding the leafs like KyleM did.

if you inboard the spings those creeper joints would work and then you would most defentetly get a ton more flex.

EDIT: http://trailgear.ca/default.cfm?fa=products&ProdCategoryID=13

just weld that under the frame rail and new perches on the axle tube along with the new mount on the frame rail. im pretty sure that all can be done while your still driving the truck too scince its all off to the side. then when the day comes just switch where the spring is
