Beg borrow or steal an oxy-acetylene torch. Burn the rivet heads off and punch them out. Drilling those things out is for the birds. I hope to see some pics from your swap soon! Good luck and have fun

I would have if I had too if I had access to one. Lived way out in the boone docks at the time and was every body's hill billy hot rod mechanic. Made the mistake of letting them see me work on my own truck once. I refuse to make the same mistake now that I live in the city. Seems like every time you change your own oil in the drive way or do some sort of repair your self to your vehicle in the drive way every one who passes by suddenly thinks they can stop and ask you every question in the world about their turd slinging chuck wagons !
