My truck has been down for some time now, and this issue has gradually gotten worse. I start and run my truck once a week. I let it get to temp then shut it down.
When I rev my engine it revs fine but when it comes down it hesitates to go to idle, it stays at 1-1.2K then slowly goes down. It used to go right down to idle, but this started as a little thing, but now it does it longer. Any ideas?

FYI, the engine is a 93 w/ 93 ECU and wiring, not the original 94 SFI engine

This video might explain it better, you'll see it's up to temp.

Anyone? TPS? Crank sensor? Normal condition? Sticky throttle linkage? Vacuum leak? throttle body?

No one has dealt with this....?

Sticky throttle cable would be the first thing to check. If the problem is gradually getting worse then it could be a sensor failing or a vacuum leak.
