Engine Diagram/ Starter

My starter went and I am basically going to try to change the old one out for a new one. Is there any diagrams of the engine or location of the starter? Any information that would assist me with changing the starter would be helpful, since i have no idea what is going on. Thank you.

Not 100% sure on your trucks year for mine are older, however, I would imagine that all trucks starters should be as basic as all the others. first, disconnect the battery cables from battery. if needed jack up the truck and block it, or jack stands for saftey, then climb under and locate the starter. It is attatched to the transmission bell housing. Disconnect the wires, being careful not to bust the wires. Unscrew the starter from the transmission, and carefully remove the old starter. (try and keep all dirt, mud, oil and gunk out of the hole that the starter goes into.)

Starter is on the left hand side of the bell housing (drivers side)
