I dont know, whatever they originally put on the 84 Ranger XLT?

But I want to grab some off an F150, those are nicer

get a piece a superthin metal of some sort a real good conductor and put it between the terminal and the post like a shim, then you should be able to get it tighter without requiring as much thread,

its definatly your terminals are not tight enough... they may seem tight, but they arent.try crushing the terminals a littlebit.

need new ones, I cannot crush them without destroying them.

sorry, not really crush them, more of just barely make them oval shaped. use a hammer if need be. but not too hard.
