I replaced the heater core in a 2000 ranger 3.0 2wd. Easy enough job but now it won't start. I have checked connections under the dash and verified all the fuses. Fuel inertia switch is good. I'm getting Fuel to the fuel rail but don't have a way to test pressure. It acts like a no spark issue but I don't have a way to check. Any help would be appreciated.

Spray some ether or brake cleaner into the throttle body. If it runs a little bit, it's a fuel issue. If it doesn't, it's an ignition issue.

Do you hear the fuel pump cycle when you first turn the key to run? If so, that narrows down the troubleshooting some since that will indicate the pump is getting power.

I'm not super familiar with the 3.0. I think it has a distributorless ignition system. See if you have power to the module that the spark plug wires go to.

We really need someone who has worked on the 3.0 to help you out. All I've worked on is the 2 5 Lima and the 4.0 SOHC on the older Rangers. And that was with a work shop manual in front of me to troubleshoot whatever system I'm figuring out what is wrong with it.

There are checks for power, continuity in the ignition module on certain pins, and so on.
