electrical problem

I have a 1985 ranger 2.8 I have rear brake lights, reverse lights and turn signals but no rear running lights. Any info would really help

Do you have dash lights?

If not you have a blow fuse.

like he said--check all fuses first...

if they're O.K.....turn on the lights & check the voltage at the running light socket for 12 volts....(I had both running lites burn out at the same time before!!)

if there's no voltage there check the running lite wire that comes out of the firewall bundle for voltage.....

that way--you can find the section of wire that is broken....or narrow it down to the lite switch
