Whenever I start my truck it runs fine no problems. But if I use my PARKING BRAKE, put it into REVERSE, use TURN SIGNALS, or try to use my A/C or HEATER CONTROL PANEL, my volt meter jumps down to less than a quarter the way on. Its wierd cause my radio, lights and everything else works fine, just not those things listed. I checked my fuses and they are all good. Is there a short in my wiring system somewhere mabe?? If anyone can help or give me some ideas please do.

sounds like you have a issue with grounding. wish i could be more specific but check around for loose ground wires especially by your parking brake b/c wies could ground out there too. wiggle some relays and clean the connections if they look funny
since the items listed still work, it should be a loose wire close by
check around and see what you can find, hope you find something

The problem is they dont work... lol, but Ive had people tell me that something is grounding out somewere like you said. Hopefully thats my problem, thx for your input on the situation.

Yup sounds like a ground prob to me, look for a loose ground buss in the dash or on the inside firewall.

Not "grounding out", but rather a lack of ground on certain circuits. Like the previous posters are saying, look for loose grounding rings or other terminals, and also look for corroded ground wires. Don't forget to look over all of ground wires coming off the battery negative terminal, either. Good luck.

If i read correctly all those circuits affect your dashlights in some way, except the reverse lights, Maybe a short in the wiring of you cluster? Did you change anything with 2 wks prior to the screwballness?
