egr deleteing


Lol thats funny cause EGR increases fuel economy and EVAP keeps the fuel from leaving the tank.

I don't really care about deleting EGR either way but EGR doesn't necessarily increase fuel economy.

93 3.0 MT, no EGR: 17/23/19 or 19/25/21 under the old system
94 3.0 MT, EGR: Same MPG ratings with no other changes to the engine.

If it ain't boosting the fuel economy that goes on the sticker Ford sure ain't putting it on for giggles.
 
Like I already said, there's no reason for an OBDII truck to have to switch computers. The egr functions can be deleted from the PCM by a tuner.

True, but if you find the right one used it can be a lot cheaper than a programmer.
