Yeah a 700 on a stock 302 is waaaay overfueled. Ive only got a 650 on my 400M.

Like a guy i knew stuck a 650 Edelbrock on a stock 2.8L???

overkill...totally. But I live in Canada and I found that a huge carb starts better at -20. I had a 600 Demon on it in warmer months. And when you're 17...you'll take whatever you can get for 30 bucks too.
