e4od in 88 ranger

doing a v 8 swap with my ranger. pulled 302 from 96 bronco as well as e4od tran. any chance of me getting this trany to work right in the ranger? the ranger is also manual so it would be a converstion. i would much rather use the trany thats already in my garage then track down a aod.

Baumann Electronics sells a stand alone trans computer that works great and their software is user friendly. I personally have used their system twice and would reconmend it to anyone. You could sell that big E4OD trans and transfer case to help cover the cost of using a AOD-E/4R70W and the stand alone system. Just my thoughts.
