Dynomax Catback Exhaust System

So are the pipes aluminized, or stainless?

I just recently bought the pipes only (and muffler hanger bracket) to use with a Hooker muffler. Rock Auto says the pipes are 409 stainless, which will rust but not rust through (most factory stuff is 409 stainless nowadays). But I've seen here and some other places that the pipes are aluminized, so I'm rather confused.

IF you want Stainless you have to spring the extra $200 for the Gibson system
which is available in stainless steel... But you must be certain you specifically
order the stainless and not the aluminized steel.

The Dynomax only has a stainless steel tip.

BTW the Dynomax is not a "Cat back system", it a muffler and tailpipe. the Extension pipe between
the cat and the muffler must be purchased separately...

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, because the DynoMax system will fit either 6' or 7' beds but the muffler end
of the tailpipe must have 7" trimmed off of it to fit the 6' bed.
