I have to fender flares that fade to grey. I wanted to get them black but i didn't want to paint them. So I poked around and found this stuff Online and it works great and it can be used on other plastic pieces such as running board steps, Valences, bumper caps and bed rail caps. Pretty much anything thats abs plastic and you want it to be black instead of grey it will work. You can find the dye on E Bay for about $30 for a two pack. It covers really well I've done my front valence and two flares and I'm about half way through my first bottle.
I decided to leave my flares on the truck and mask them off you can remove or mask. Masking was just easier in my case.
I used a foam roller from Lowe's picked it up for around $2.
Then rolled on some dye:
When rolling it on it will look uneven just add a second coat and you'll be good.
And DONE... with one side at least.
