dual exhaust

Running a Y off a single pipe is not a dual exhaust.
I'd go with true duals all the way back or not run duals at all.

i wasnt going to y it i was going to run the flowmaster single in dual out becuase iv heard true duals kill power and gas millage like m buddy drives a silvardo with the 8.1 i think they only had that moter for a year or two on the line in that truck but ya he ran true duals and he said it lost so much power and i think it smore expensive i bought a 40 seriers flowmaster for 15 bucks off a buddy in my shop class and th epipe is only 60 dollors for 20 feet what the guy said so im saving alot of money i think

ps i also got this idea from a buddy in shop when we had my truck on the lift we thought to ru the flowmaster but turn the dual exhaust in front of the back tire driver side both of them and it owuld look cool we want to do one on each side but the gas tank wont allow that

he lost his gas mileage because (1) thats a big motor (2) with duals he probably gets on it and therefore blows his gas out the tail pipe.

true duals on a v8 will not cause a loss in gas mileage.

true duals on a v6 will.

running the sido muffler you want will be fine. run 2.5 pipe into the muffler, and 2 1/4 tail pipes. this will give you great sound, and not compromise economy.

thank and i think im going to do the setup that guy with the black ranger did it looks awsome and less pipe! and my buddy with the flowmaster well i went to take a look it after school ot get a bewtter look and i flipped nher over n there was a a hole and the single inside was cut with something so bakc to square one
