drum brakes tighten up with the lug nuts!?!?


i wouldn't use grease on them personally, not sure why not, but it doesn't seem like it would work well, long term. heat maybe? I coat everything brake related in anti-seize compound, the liquid stuff, not the crayon, though the crayon works well for spark plugs!
 
I had a 12 oz bottle of brake grease that I used on the Rat. But I have used regular chassis grease without a problem. Never seize is pretty much grease with a little copper in it. Yrs ago, lead was used instead of copper.
