run your front diff breather up into the engine bay and change your diff oil. regrease your spindle bearings too,they get contaminated pretty easy from water crossings and mud

ok ill get some hose and run the dif breather up outa the way. i think i might modify a sort of snorkel or something too definity going to work on gettin the 77 f150 hiboy this summer lol. i like 35'' tires!

haha ok ill change the oil payday. its about due for one anyway. last time i ever go through the river when im rolling stock to pull someone out. if i do next time ill take it easy through it.

I guarentee you will have to change the fluid in both diffs, the intake tubes sit under your box on the back, and if you got water in the air intake, your front is full of water too. Also, dont forget to check the transfer case...

Yeah it's a good idea to change the diff fluid and oil. and i would look at your tranny vent and re pipe it a little higher. Had a 89 4x4 2.9 I drove it up the etowah river and well needless to say i was young and dumb and ended up having to get me a new tranny... 2000 dollars later .
