Kinda following the skyjacker install instructions from the tech library on this one. However I bought a used lift that I am 99% sure is superlift that didnt come with any nuts or bolts.
Im picking up some hardware to bolt the lift on. I will be using grade 8 1/2 inch bolts for the radius arm brackets. Was planning on using the same size to mount the drop brackets but the holes in the drop brackets are quite a bit larger than 1/2 inch.

Do I need to go with bigger bolts here and drill the crossmember to match???? I would imagine using 1/2 with these larger holes could cause exessive play or other bullsh*t problems like loose brackets. Any one else install a superlift and have the same problems.

I used all 1/2" bolts in mine.

were the holes in the brackets fairly close to 1/2 inch? You mail those shocks yet?:D

they were about 5/8".

yeah I measured mine and they are 5/8 as well. should be fine to bolt right up.

I used a washer on each side, a lock washer between the washer and the nut, and red thread locker.

cool. do you need heat to remove red thread locker?

Heat, no, an impact or a really big hammer, yes.

Heat makes it MUCH easier though.

All the bolts on mine are 1/2" as well. You should be fine as long as you tighten them good. Blue Loctite is also more than adequate here.

so i am assuming the blue makes things easier to remove?

Blue can be removed with hand tools.
