Hi im on a tight budget and i have to keep my 7.5 for now i have a 302 with m50d i have the f-150 drive shaft how can i make it work with the 7.5 the f-150 had a 8.8 i believe

F150 had 9" but the flange is the same as the 8.8. Take it to a driveline shop and have them make an adapter.

they will make a plate to bolt the driver shaft flange which is larger so the smaller 7.5 flange? is this my only option?

or find a doner 8.8 or 9 from an explorer or a f-150 and do a swap

maybe you didn't read that i was on a tight budget , what i have is a 7.5 , i have a f-150 driveshaft i have a 8.8 pinion flange will it work with the 7.5 rearend? if not how can i get the 7.5 to work with the f-150 driveshaft

drill out the holes from the 7.5 driveshaft to the 8.8 flange

Backward. He still has a 7.5. Go find a Ranger/B2 driveshaft from the junkyard. They are only $10 here. Just measure to make sure you fond the right length.

so the ranger drive shaft will work with the f-150 transfercase 1354 i believe

If you find one with the same transfer case. The 1354 was put in Rangers too.

noo i ment 1356 from a f150 it's slip yoke i have drive shaft for it but i need to find a way to hook drive shaft up to the bii 7.5 , i have a pinion flange from the 8.8 but i think the pinion is smaller on the 7.5 b/c i don't feel like the 8.8 locks into the splines it's a little larger i think
