Driveshaft play going into rear diff, Bearing in the rear diff?


well i am actually gonna swap the tires and rims from my 2000 over to this truck , i like the 31's better than the 235's and the 31's i mounted and balnaced my self
 
your axle needs to be rebuilt. with NEW ring and pinion. tightening that nut and leaving it alone is only making it worse. your bearings are toast from the play and your gears are going to be noisy. once that nut is tightened the FIRST time you cant reuse that crush sleeve
 
c.v. drive shaft?

does your b2 have a c.v. drive shaft? If so is there grease leaking out of the boots? see how much play u have in it. If it is worn it will vibrate.
