Drivers Seat

I have a 2004 Edge. i tried to recline the drivers seat the other day and the seat back would,nt move at all. Is this a common problem, and what can I do to try and fix the problem?

How did the handle feel when you pulled it?

It felt like it was working properly, but the seat back would only move about a half an inch in either direction.
