Does anyone know the maximum recommended length for a one piece drive shaft? By memory I would guess 60" but thought i should ask. RB

i would think that it would depend on the diameter and the material being used as well as the size of the U joints being used.

I was going to use a Ford Explorer shaft and buy a longer tube for it. I haven't cut it open to measure it yet. Maybe tonight. RB
