- Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Truck probably weighs 3k..hopefully a little under 3k when I'm done.. HP will be 200max.. at least for as long as the first set of tires lasts. 96 2wd single cab short bed.
Do we think going full ham for a pair of drag radials would really be worth it? Or is getting a couple of regular old high performance tires going to be good enough?
Comparing some toyo proxy r888r's for example to MT dot drag radials.. about 40$ cheaper a piece.. and the proxys have a whopping .3/32s more tread depth which would extend their useful life by... A bit anyways. They're more of a road course tire by design but.. still sticky.. hmmm..
