Alright I had water mixed all in my oil so I had to replace the cylinder head when I took the cylinder head off the block there were no dowel pins in it I've never seen any dowel pins in the 2.3. so I'm really confused on where they actually go can anyone possibly tell me how and where exactly I am suppose to install them?

I've never worked on the 2.3, but if its the same as others I've worked on there will be 2 head bolt holes that are slightly bigger in diameter than the rest. Dowels go there. Usually opposite corners.

Yeah, that... I lost mine once and ended up making some out of CO2 cartridges for bb guns...
