Doubler


I have the simplest way to mode it onto manual, and I did it. Pull the shift motor and put a t-handle on the shift shaft.

Granted you need to get out and reach under the truck to shift the case into 4-low and you cant use 4-high as mentioned above but it works every time, and is CHEAP. After having it like this for 3 years I know exactly where it is, just reach under and turn. I don’t ever need or use 4-high. Lock in the hubs and locking in the t-case from outside is my protocol.
 
u ever consider a openable access plate on the center hump, sometimes when u get stuck turning the case from underneath is not a option, i know personally i use 2wd unless i HAVE to use 4wd, a access plate would just flip open, lock the hubs, and flip shut, just a thought
 
With the doubler the shifter is farther back and I have a bench seat so that is a no go. When I had to BII body I did have a setup as you describe.

Also I slap her into 4 wheel before I need it.
