Double Din Install

With a little searching you could have found that this has been done many of times. I have done it myself twice in the same truck and I am about to do it again in my 99. I do things a little though, solder and shrink tubing. Guarantees continuity and a secure connection.

Nice write up though.

Thanks, I was going in with the intent that maybe if someone didn't understand another post this might help and I hope so. I just haven't gotten the time to do the other parts of the write up with life in the way and such

The audio set up in my last Ranger was banana sandwich crazy. (2) Sundown SA-8 v1's w/ a Sundown 1500W 2 ohm stable mono block amp putting out 134.9 dB sound awesomeness.

Haha oh my god I am instantly jealous, I'm still working a minimum wage job I can't get very awesome stuff yet. Just building my knowledge!!

Haha I'm looking for a setup around $200-$300 max [emoji28] that looks like an AMAZING setup, one of my buddies works for a professional audio place and he is trying to get me a cheap setup.

I did not pay full retail on my gear. I have a buddy that is a authorized dealer so I got the hook up.

Wow that's awesome, that's what I'm trying to get done.

I'm thinking about installing this same stereo in my 85 standard cab. Would you be able to provide width and height dimensions for the face trim? Trying to figure out if it will fit or if I will need to move my heater controls down. I'm thinking it might squeeze in with some trimming
