Door Panel Question

I have a 94 Splash regular cab. The driver's door fabric above the armrest is finally wearing out and I want to replace it with vinyl. How does that piece come off? Does it just pop off? I don't want to damage it or the fasteners before knowing for sure!

I just looked at my donor door panel's & the fabric padded section has plastic studs that protrud through holes in the door panel it self & then is plastic fused/welded into place.
I would say get a spot weld cutter or a very small hole saw & drill out the welded stud sections ,remove the padded section make your repair/replacement & then reinstall using either hot glue with high temp glue or 90 second 2 stage epoxy
