Door "Jamb"

Re :2001 XLT w/ the rear suicide doors.

Both doors are jammed shut. The latch in the jamb feels as if it's engaged, it moves but won't release the door.
There's no damage from an accident or attempted break in.
Any thoughts on how to get them operating properly?

I believe I'd crawl through the other side and start yanking a door panel off if at all possible.... Should be able to lay the seat down and get the panel partially off.
