door interchangability

I have a question about fit of cab doors.
I've checked the wesite quickly but have not found the answer.
My 88 standard cab is in need of doors.
I have found a pair from an extended cab.
Will they work/fit?

As far as I know, yes. Gen II (89-92) Ranger doors will also fit, but Gen I Explorer (91-94) doors do not fit.

Any Ranger door up to and including the '92 model year will interchange. the only difference is on the '89-'92 doors is the inner skin, or where the door panel mounts and speaker mount.

In '93 Ford change the door all together as the cabs changed completely.

So, just so I understand it, the doors from
an EXTENDED cab will fit a STANDARD cab.
