Don't take your Porsche Cayenne Muddin'

I only somewhat agree with you on the tire thing.

My '93 2wd always had all seasons on it and it went to play where all the big trucks played without much issue. I would've put this fool to shame! lol

Tires are a contributing factor, moreso with climbing over things than making it over rough and bumpy terrain. My point being that you could have a little 4 banger with little power compared to that porsche, but gear it right and let it grip in and it'll roll all over it.

Also...am I the only one that noticed that BOTH of those vids feature people who obviously aren't from the continent of North America?

Are Cayen's that much cheaper elsewhere that they can afford to f**k it up that bad??

I know, around here, they carry a very hefty 6 figure price tag.

And it's not that good looking for your money. If I wanted a euro 4x4 I'd go Range Rover.

I agree with EB, who buy a half assed 4x4 that costs that much and then throws it around like that?

I got passed by a regular Cayenne yesterday, and a V8 4-Runner was in front of me. The V8 4-Runner decided to not get passed, and it didn't. Was kinda funny.

i drive a pretty mundane stretch of freeway to work, there are a couple good open road sections. numerous times now one of these things has flown by me at a ridiculous speed- same one. now, im not a hate monger or anything like that, but the way this mother F'er drives that cayenne somehow, someway, i hope he gets whats comin to him and doesn't take anyone else with him...

Amen man!

Don't get me wrong...I do my share of what some people would call "reckless" driving..but I've always been the type that can "read" what traffic is doing and adjust accordingly. I always tell people that driving is in my blood! :D

But I keep my speeding to a minimum and I know the limits of my vehicle. Some people should have to register their overly-powered vehicles like they would have to do with a weapon.

Russians are obviously quite stupid.

I can relate to that. I drive a tad more "aggressively" than most of my friends, yet I'm basicly the only one who hasn't been involved in a wreck, or totaling my truck like my friend Rob did. Brakes failed two days after I told him he NEEDED to get them looked at. He killed a Mercedes in the process tho.

No, you should just have to take an IQ test to get a driver's license.

You're both wrong, you should have to take an actual driving test to get a driving license. The testing is a joke. For example, I tested in my '96 S-10 2wd shortbox with the 4.3 Vortec, and it wasn't a stock one either, ran basement 14's. The lady commented on "How smooth these 4-cyl trucks were" so I punched it and layed down some posi. I still passed.

I support the method Finland uses. It takes alot longer to get it, and they put you through some REAL driving school, involving a skid pan.

The Cayenne driver didn't even try. I have driven both many times.

I can tell you that most euro countries have much better drivers than us. I have done a few moto tours in the Alps and you can scream through narrow mountain road curves on the bike without worrying if the oncoming car will be in their own lane. It's like heaven really.

The hill isn't so bad, a 2wd truck could get up it with momentum, but this video shows that the awd system at least tries.
That is actually pretty steep. And if you notice at a point the right front tire is off the ground while the left front is digging in. Let's see a stock Ranger do that.
