Dome light removal...

I have searched "dome light" and didn't get any results. I've seen videos on you tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPZG_FpiJmQ&feature=related) about how to remove the dome light without breaking anything, but I want to know if theres a no BS way to remove the cover on my 2002 SuperCab? I want to stick a LED square in there...

Easier said than done... I will try to pry it off carefully tomorrow when its light out, but I don't want to break those damn tabs and have to buy a whole new cover...

thats the trick. thats usually only a big issue when they are old, the plastic gets brittle. You should be ok if you are careful.

Mine took some force when i put in the LED's and i thought i was going to break it but it popped right off.

Yeah....it was my smart ass way of helping a friend remove his lense a few months back. I love it. haha.

Yours obviously comes off easier than most... wiggling mine just like that doesn't work... and it doesn't work for most people wondering the same thing I am on other forums.

Alright, great, in the process of trying to get this dumb thing off, I think a fuse blew, or maybe the bulb got knocked out of place, because now my dome light doesn't work at all.

An old trick especially when it's cold out is to use a hair dryer to warm up the lens before removing, making it slightly more flexible.
