Tech said bearing was ok... I would have replaced it anyways, but......

It was two seals leaking, Driver's side was fine.

brakes are a touch squishy, although it doesn't seem to be loosing fluid. We are leaving in about 45 minutes....It's 5 Am here right now, So I guess e will just have to wait and see how it does. On the upside, alll of the work is warantied for 1 year/12k miles at any ford dealer, So that will be helpful on the way back.

If it killed the pinion seal, I'd be concerned that it also killed the pinion bearing.

No kidding. What was it, wobbling around or what?

Well...I got home.... The brakes were pretty interesting, it's not loosing fluid, but they are pretty squishy. I had some rough weather and some pretty bad road conditions, so my crappy condition exhaust is completely shot now....So one more thing to price...


On the upside....



I did get home safely, and I got to spend 2 weeks with a very good friend of mine who I had kinda lost contact with, and it was good to see her before she heads off to a not so friendly part of the world soon.
