Do I need to replace the master cylinder?

I am doing an SAS on the ranger and am using a eaton rear axle that I will be converting to disc brakes.

I am pretty sure that I will need a master cylinder for 4 wheel disc's like and explorer master cylinder but just wanted to verify this.

Either that or a master out of a half ton ford will bolt up and will give you more braking pressure

Hey Chris, if you are using large bore calipers, like 3 1/8" chevy's try this master cylinder. Napa #10-1529, or application is a 68-74 3/4 ton F250 with drum brakes. You will have to adapt your lines to it, but that is all. Works very well for me, and I have tried several.

you could look at the design of an expedition master cylinder and see if it would bolt up, those come factory with disks all around and are the larger fullsize running gear.

Hey Casey, are you able to lock up the tires at a good speed if needed? ANd won't there be a problem with that master cylinder not being for power brakes?
