do i need to regear?

i am lifting my explorer and putting 34'' ltb's under it, should i regear? i meant to crawl under there and find out what ratio i had but i got distracted and forgot to. i will check tomorrow when im out there again..

uh...yeah. cuz a 91 explorer certainly don't have 4.56's or 4.10's.

It's probably got 3.55s, so yeah you'll want 4.56 or 4.88s. I have 3.55s in the rear, and with 33s the gearing flat out SUCKS.

if you're worried about money than you will be ok to run it with stock gearing. As mentioned it would be less than preferable but it wont be THAT bad.
