I am considering using DJM upper and lower control arms on my 99 Ranger. Can anyone provide any feedback on their quality?
Thanks

They're pretty well regarded. They're tubular control arms though, so pretty tough to screw up. They fit. They haven't bent, rusted or broken yet. I don't think I've touched mine since they were installed almost 10 years ago.

Thanks for the feedback. Can I ask you another question - I have a 99 and am building this truck for drag racing only. I want to go to a manual rack - any thought on that? I can't find anything without custom fab.

I’ve got them on my ‘02 Ranger. Most people on here don’t even know I own a Ranger... I never really mention it, it never has any problems.

There is no Ranger manual rack... I’ve always wanted to get my hands on an Aerostar manual rack to compare it.

Thanks for the info. I am going to investigate the Aerostar manual rack as a possibility.

Didn't Aerostars use a steering box like the Rangers of their era?

The Aerostar used a manual rack from 86-89, then all power till 97. Im trying to get the dimensions to see if I can adapt to my 99.

Looks like I am wrong. RockAuto has a steering rack for each year model Aerostar.
