I was married 14 years 3 kids 15 9 3 and my wife went nuts was drinking and doing drugs begged her to straighten herself out but she would not the last straw was when she threatened to kill one of the kids to a social worker i knew i had to do something well i got to divorce her from room and board in other words i got to throw her crazy ass out on her ear i got the house the kids and by the way one of them was hers by a diff man and she had to pay me child support met another lady been with her eleven years cant get rid of her lol no just joking she is great takes good care of me its hard to do it but you can take olny so much I hope you work it out if not just move on the right one just might be around the conner

been divorced twice. My first wife was abusive and a panty dropper while i was deployed (got us kicked out of base housing for prostitution while I was in Columbia)..... even tried to kill me by opening the bleed screws on my 79 F250 before the divorce was final so she could get my SGLI. I was never able to prove anything and eventually got her back by taking the axle nuts off her f150 and putting the caps back on. She was also letting my best friend lay pipe to her (damn I miss him) and letting him drive my 68 charger (she moved everything off base before I got back and then got a restraining order to keep me away while she disposed of my toys)and ride my 92 Vmax Virago. I haven't seen her since before thanksgiving 1997.

The second Wife was also a pantie dropper while I was away. I pay her child support, I do not get visitation and I haven't seen her since jun 2000.

Counseling is the first step to divorce, I've been divorced twice, trust me on this.

Heh. My first wife went to counseling once before we were to have our "joint appointment", then moved out and stole our kids without warning before said appointment. My attorney asked me who she saw for "counseling", I told her (my attorney was a lady) and she tells me that the "counselor" is a militant feminist who tells every woman that comes to her to leave her husband, and views that as a victory.

X2 on the not cheating. I never did it and my ex is now re-married(divorce was final in June and she got married end of Aug.), I cant prove she ever did anything, but it looks odd and she took a lot of trips out of town for "work" at the end. My biggest complaint is I made a commitment and it just seems like too many people aren't willing to stand up to what they say. I have told any woman I have ever seen, if you want to sleep with someone else thats fine with me, but don't ever come back here.

For richer or for poorer? Looks like the chips are down. Now is the time to SOLIDIFY your marriage. It's a test of real strength. If this is truly the reason (both being out of work) then suck it up, talk with your pastor and pray and work through it. You'll be glad you did in the long run and wiser and stronger for it.
