Not sure what your thoughts are about AIP Parts, but I found your synchro on both eBay and Amazon. 4.5 stars. $99 bucks. MF part #CSYN16.
Not knowing exactly what model ranger that you have. XL, XLT, reg cab, ext cab, it says that it's what you're looking for! 2- or 4-wheel drive. Not that it would matter!
They had a Cardone for your year and engine but stated that it was only for an explorer. Don't ask me!!! I hope this will help.

3M Super 77! exactly what I used on the fiberglass sheet of paper after I scraped the foam off. Amazing how rigid that small layer of foam makes the liner! 3M- great products

We use super77 and 90 a lot in film set construction. They are purchased by the case. Loctite makes a version too I am curious to try.

Lol you don't have to do that, but would be my hero if you found one. I found an oem motor raft on ebay. But I think it's chirping again. Haven't ruled out other stuff yet, but sounds like the synchro.

That was the first one I tried but it failed and I replaced it with the NOS motorcraft unit. The AIP cap/electrical connector dealy blew apart. The motorcraft just started squeaking after about an oil change worth of miles.

I bought mine at a U pull R parts yard for $11.00. I cleaned it with a sponge and some rubbing alcohol. Not all reg cab liners are the same though. The differences are subtle but critical. I had to return the first one.
